2. Solder Resistor
Before you start soldering, make sure that the orientation of the PCB is right.
All parts, when soldered, should be on the side of PCB where labels of the elements are placed. That side is shown below.

The first component that should be soldered is 470 Ohm resistor which is used for LED Ring dimming and protection.
Its position is shown in the picture below.

SMD Resistor
Feel free to use SMD version of the resistor instead of the Through-hole one.
